Introducing Shilo Solo Agent: Real Coaching for Every Agent
Last updated: August 12, 2026
Last year, Shilo analyzed 2+ million real estate calls. Laid end to end, that’s 13 years of nonstop talking. And buried in all that talk time is a number that still bugs us: 86% of those calls ended without a clear next step. Roughly 1.7 million conversations where the deal quietly stalled and nobody noticed.
Here’s the part that matters if you work alone. On a team, somebody at least has a shot at catching that. A sales manager can hear maybe 2% of a team’s calls. Not much, but not nothing. An agent working by themselves… the number is 0%. Nobody hears your calls. Not a broker, not a coach, and if we’re being honest, not even you. The only feedback you get is whether the deal closes, weeks or months later, when the moment to learn from that conversation is long gone.
Starting today, that changes. Shilo Solo Agent is live for every individual agent. Sign up on your own, connect your tools in minutes, and get real coaching built from your real conversations. No team, no manager, and no sales call with us required.
For the past two years we’ve been hearing the same message from individual agents in hundreds of different ways: “I’m not on a team. Can I use this?” For a long time the honest answer was no. This post is about why, what changed, and what your first week looks like.
Why We Started With Teams
Shilo didn’t start as a company. It started as a one-off build for an incredible team leader in Texas, Levi Rodgers. Levi runs a team with over 300 agents in San Antonio, and month after month his team is #1 in his market. His problem was simple and a little brutal: the bigger the team got, the less anyone knew about what was actually happening on its calls, and he wanted that fixed. The prototype worked. His sales managers went from coaching 30 agents each to 60 and more. Somewhere in there, a company started by accident.
So we built for teams first. Teams already had coaching in their culture, and there was a hard technical wall: the CRMs agents rely on only gave us access through the team’s account owner. An agent working inside someone else’s CRM couldn’t connect Shilo alone, even if they wanted to.
But one thing showed up in the data early, and we never stopped thinking about it. Agents logged in about twice as often as their managers did. We built the product for team leaders, and the people who couldn’t stay out of it were the agents. There’s an old myth in call coaching that this stuff is only for big teams. Our own usage data has been quietly disagreeing for two years.
What Two Years of Coached Calls Taught Us
Coaching real conversations with top teams taught us what actually changes an agent’s behavior, and it isn’t a webinar. Feedback has to come from a call that really happened. It has to arrive while the call is still fresh, not weeks later when the details have faded and the lead has moved on. And it has to point at one specific thing to do differently, because “get better at objections” helps nobody. Then you need a safe place to practice that one thing before the next live opportunity. That’s it. That’s the whole loop.
Here’s what it looks like in practice. An agent on one of our teams was positive she’d just logged a 5-star call. Great lead, selling one house and buying another, everybody’s happy. Shilo scored it a 3, and she wanted to know why. The reason: her next step was “I’ll get in touch next week.” The 4-star version is one sentence different: “I’ll call you Tuesday at 11, we’ll go over everything and see where we’re at.” Her reaction is the same one we hear every week: “Oh yeah… I didn’t do that.”
That one sentence is the difference between a lead on your calendar and a lead you’re chasing with 7 follow-up texts. No generic script training finds that moment for you. Your own calls do.
What Changed
So if we knew individual agents wanted this, why did it take 2 years?
The plumbing didn’t exist. We went to work with our CRM partners and built the connections that let an agent link their own account directly, no admin or team-wide setup required. We redesigned onboarding so one person can go from signup to a first coaching session in a single sitting. And we solved the blocker we heard from solo agents over and over: “I don’t record my calls.” You don’t have to. With Shilo Solo Agent, you can start getting coached through role play before you’ve connected anything at all.
In other words, we spent 2 years removing every reason an individual agent couldn’t do this. Now there are none left.
How Shilo Solo Agent Works
Here’s what your first week looks like:
1. Start on your own
Create your account in minutes. No demo, no waiting on anyone. Every Solo plan starts with a free 7-day trial.
2. Meet your coach
Your first session is a 1-on-1 conversation with Shilo: your market, your goals, and where you want to improve. Your coaching is personal from the start because Shilo actually knows who it’s coaching.
3. Practice with role play
Your account comes loaded with example calls and role-play scenarios from day 1. Work through objections and tough moments in a low-stakes setting, on demand, as many reps as you want. Get the flubs out on the robot so you show up sharp for the human.
4. Learn from your real conversations
Connect a supported CRM and Shilo grades your actual calls on the same 5-star standard our teams use: what you did well, what you missed, and the one thing to improve next.
5. Build week over week
Weekly 1:1 coaching sessions and a personal dashboard (your top objections, your appointment set rate, where conversations slip) help you decide what to work on next, so every call builds on the last one.
You’re in control the whole way: your account, your billing, cancel anytime. Plans and details are on our pricing page.
For Our Team Customers
Shilo Team remains the right product for leaders raising performance across a whole roster. It includes the same coaching system, plus everything an individual plan can’t offer: visibility across your pipeline, admin and manager controls, team-level analytics, a shared bank of hours, and white-glove rollout. Our investment in teams is as strong as it’s ever been.
Solo helps one agent improve. Team helps a leader make improvement consistent across many. One doesn’t replace the other, and a world where every agent gets real feedback is better for everyone, including the clients they serve.
Every Agent Deserves a Coach
Our CEO Justin has a line for what Shilo is really about: get humans back to the human side of real estate, and let the robots do the robot side. For two years, that was only true if you happened to be on the right team. Today, for the first time, it’s true for everyone.
Leading a team? Book a demo and we’ll walk through Shilo with your actual roster in mind.
